Fire Risk Assessor
Location: Nottingham (Home-based or Hybrid after inductions / training)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + car allowance
Benefits: 36 days annual leave, mileage reimbursement, 5% pension contribution, overnight allowance

The Role
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Fire Risk Assessor to join the team. The role involves conducting Fire Risk Assessments and providing expert advice to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation. This position is suitable for someone with a background in fire safety, building surveying, or fire services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Fire Risk Assessments for various property types, including care homes, schools, and offices.
- Develop Fire Evacuation Strategies and provide practical, cost-effective fire safety solutions.
- Identify fire safety risks and recommend tailored corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and British Standards.
Whats Required
- Proven experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments, especially for high-risk premises.
- A recognized fire safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety & Risk Management).
- Membership with a recognized fire safety body (e.g., IFE or IFSM) or working towards it.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and best practices.
- Full UK driving license and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
